A fantastic evergreen Ginger suitable for cooler climates, Ginger Dwarf Cardamom (Alpinia nutans) is a hardy, easy to grow clumping Ginger that features thick lush green foliage that has a delightful fragrance which is released when the leaves are brushed or rubbed.
Dward Cardamom Maintenance
In overnight frost the plant will die back but if soil is well mulched the rootball may survive.
Plant in free draining soil in sun to shade.
Flowering will be reduced in shadier sites.
Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
