Liriope plant is a better alternative to Evergreen giant, as it is more evergreen, burns less in frost and sun and has a much more uniform shape and size.

It is also more Phytophthora tolerant.

Mulch and water regularly for the first 12 weeks until the plant establishes.

Trim old foliage every 4-6 years to encourage new growth, separate clumps to plant elsewhere in the garden.

Tolerates drought, frost and extended wet periods once established.
