Olive Tree

The olive tree is a slow-growing, evergreen tree or shrub.

It has an upright growth habit when young but becomes more sprawling and contorted with age, often with a twisted trunk.

Olive trees can grow up to 20-30 feet (6-9 meters) tall and wide.

Preferably full sun but will tolerate partial shade.

Water regularly but sparingly during growing season.

Do not overwater, Olives are fairly drought tolerant plants.

There is normally no need to water Olive trees during the winter, only make sure the root ball does not dry out.
