Native Mint Bush

Australian native large shrub with soft green menthol-scented foliage and masses of purple-lilac flowers during spring.

Pretty in full flower as a feature, hedge, or in a mixed border, especially for cottage gardens and native wildflower gardens.

Mulch and water well until established.

Prune yearly by about one third after flowering to encourage new growth and a dense pleasing shape.
