Flowering Gum Description
This flowering Corymbia (syn. Eucalyptus) forms a tight rounded shape with thick, dark green foliage which is lighter in colour on the underside.
The trunk is rough and dark brown, and in summer a profusion of brightly coloured flowers appear, making quite a statement when in full flower.
Flowering Gum Maintenance
Red flowering gum trees are happiest in moist, well-draining soil, but are still quite adaptable to different soil environments.
After flowering, enjoy the being fed by a low phosphorus fertiliser.
In terms of aspect, they thrive in full sun to light shade.
