Eumundi Quondong Description
Elaeocarpus eumundi, commonly known as Eumundi quandong, or smooth-leaved quandong, is a species of flowering plant in the family Elaeocarpaceae and is endemic to north-eastern Australia.
It is a mid-sized tree with egg-shaped to lance-shaped leaves, racemes of cream-coloured flowers and blue fruit.
Eumundi Quondong Maintenance
Plant in a free draining soil, rich in organic matter, and not over-wet.
Mulch and water well until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
Prune lightly and regularly to maintain a dense growth habit and fertilise with a slow release native fertiliser during spring.
Protect from frost until mature.
