Daintree Fan Palm

An Australian native palm from northern parts of QLD which has spectacular near circular leaves up to 2m in diameter.

Best suited to growing in areas where there is some shade.

It can be grown in subtropical regions provided the area is frost free.

A shady position and plenty of moisture is all that is needed to grow Licuala ramsayi successfully.

This is one of the most cold tolerant of the Licuala’s, but it’s still a tropical/sub-tropical plant, and definitely not frost hardy.
