Our clients brief that prioritises the creation of more entertaining area, the location of a grandchild-friendly pool with easy access from the master bedroom, privacy from the road and neighbouring properties, and a low-maintenance yet lush tropical oasis.
In house landscape design process from the initial client meeting, fine tuning of the initial design, project management throughout the entire process, construction as per the plan and our garden maintenance division have maintained the property since its completion to ensure the clients vision is enhanced as time goes on.
This project focused on blending natural elements with functional features to create an outdoor space that seamlessly integrates with the client’s home and surrounding landscape. To address the client’s desire for more entertaining area without creating a wasteland of tile surfacing we incorporated the use of decking.
This leads off the master bedroom and encompasses the deep end of the pool. Its varied heights were created out of necessity.
Due to the homes various level changes we expertly created a casual seating area at pool height as well as a raised area for lounging on daybeds. This design approach not only enhances the aesthetics but also reduces the reliance on tiled surfaces, offering a visually appealing and inviting atmosphere.
The creation of a grandchild-friendly pool takes centre stage in our design. By incorporating shallow areas, non-slip surfaces, and appropriate safety measures, we ensure the pool meets the specific needs of the client’s grandchildren.
Access to the pool from the master bedroom is strategically planned to offer convenience and easy transition, enhancing the overall functionality of the space.
Privacy is of utmost importance to the client, and we have incorporated design elements to address this requirement. Through the placement of carefully selected plant species and decorative screens, we created natural privacy barriers that shield the outdoor area from the road and neighbouring properties.
This thoughtful design approach ensures a sense of seclusion and serenity within the landscape.
The varying heights of the house, resulting from internal steps, present a unique challenge that we have skillfully integrated into the design.
Steps, terraced gardens, and retaining walls are harmoniously incorporated to create a cohesive and visually appealing landscape that seamlessly connects the different levels of the property.
This integration not only provides practicality but also enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the outdoor space.
To achieve a low-maintenance yet lush tropical oasis, we carefully select plant species that thrive in the local climate while requiring minimal upkeep. Large tropical foliage plant material, automated irrigation systems, and efficient drainage solutions contribute to the sustainability and ease of maintenance.
The result is a captivating tropical environment that immerses the client in a relaxing and rejuvenating outdoor experience.
